I really enjoy seeing shows at the playhouse. Seats are awesome and the location on the water is great. Intermission on the porch is great.

Location is as much of a draw as the show! Overlooking the water provides a beautiful backdrop for some great local theatre. Really enjoyed seeing the fast passed comedy: A Grand Time in The Rapids.

This waterfront theatre was one of our highlights in this Thousand Island vacation. Within this air conditioned venue, we were entertained by a performance of "You Are Here". The solitary actress held our attention for almost 2 h. without an intermission. A difficult act to follow.

We have attended three plays this summer at the 1000 Islands Playhouse. All of them were excellent productions. In past years we have driven to Stratford and Niagara on the Lake for summer theatre, but the traffic has made that drive unpleasant. For residents of eastern Ontario and upstate New York, the 1000 Islands Playhouse is a winner! Ticket prices... More

A one woman musical. Its a tour de force. The best show three friends saw of the 5 plays we attended this year at the Thousand Island Playhouse. The other 4 were very good but "you are here" is wonderful. The 5 person orchestra, music, lighting, stage, it was near perfection. Charming, poignant, funny, surprising, nicely paced. We saw a production of a farce, it was not good. The performers were enthusiastic and knew all their lines. The costumes were good. The lead actor was supposed to be British but her accent was all over the place, however I think she probably sings really well, pity it wasn't a musical. The locals loved it, so maybe I'm... More

We chose this play as it sounded like a real good comedy but we were very disappointed. It was more slapstick silly and not funny.

Wonderful experience. He is superb! He played Bach, Rachmaninoff, Chopin and Schubert and then more Chopin. Lovely conversation with host Eric Freisin of Studio 'S' series.
