Sandy Beach is just minutes away from Lloydminster. A great place for fun with the family! A large open area and a long sandy beach makes this an ideal location for a quiet holiday. There is a concession store for some items.

We mostly kayak at this provincial park but there is golf on sand green (pricey), camp sites and homes (seasonal and year round) around the lake. The public services (bathrooms, roadways, garbage collection) are well maintained.

My husband and I have a cabin at Sandy Beach. We love the family atmosphere, the friendly staff. It is well cared for with grounds and roads maintained. Love the trails up to the group camping area on the hill. Nice lake with good beach.

Nice and clean. They have added a system to the lake to circulate the water and it keeps it clean and enjoyable all summer long.

The beach is really nice and the park is well taken care. However it's way too close to the highway as semi trucks were passing every 5 minutes using engine retarder breaks and loud motorcycles. DO NOT TENT here because you will not get any sleep!!! We had to go buy earplugs in Lloydminster. The lack of sleep really had... More

Located about 15 minutes North of Lloydminster on Hwy 17, the park is well signed from the highway. A day pass entry fee of $8 is collected at the entrance. The park has a large RV park and lots of homes. The beach was OK, but to put it in perspective we live on the coast where beach access is... More

Most of the locals... More

If you are looking for a sandy beach, then you have found it. It has a swim out raft, two diving platforms, a large shore slide and a smaller one for younger children. Clean, soft sand. Washrooms nearby. Bring a sun shade.

Sandy Beach has a great little sand-green golf course perfect for a beginner golfer or for families. There are available summer camp sites, a very well maintained beach and a lake large enough for motorized boats. A great place for an afternoon of beaching it!

In all the park was very well maintain, my family enjoyed all that was offered, but needless to say the park supervisor has very poor people skills!!! She needs to learn politeness toward her costumers. She is the reason why we will not visit this campsite again.
