If this is #3 on the list of things to see in Lloydminster then the city needs to work on it. Waste of money that would be much better put to use on repairing the roads in the area that parallels the border.

Located at City Hall on the intersection of Hwy. 16 & 17. The border markers signify the provincial boundary and 4th meridian which marks the Alberta/Saskatchewan border. These four markers are 100 feet high. All shaped like the survey stakes used during the original survey...More

World Tallest and Magnificent Markers on Alberta & Saskatchewan Border in the city of Lloydminster. You can see the borderline clearly and stand in both provinces at the same time.

Likely not worth a special stop, but it is neat to drive past these and know that you're at the exact point of the border. We also enjoyed that there are smaller ones at intersections in the City, which were good for photos.

You'll know you've made it to Lloydminster when you see these bright orange markers towering over the border. Right on Main Street.
