Simply gorgeous.

Many miles of trails, beautiful views, beaches. Super, natural East Sooke! And during the summer months, there is the Smokin' Tuna for lunch just next to the entrance.

From farm enterance, there are a couple of trails. Some easy, around the farm, some more diffficult, coast trail. Coast trail better suited to the more agile individual once you get past the Petroglyphs. Great coast trail views, saw an orca in the bay. Would be sublime in summer. Check it out!

One of the best places in Canada to hike. The scenery is amazing and you feel part of nature as you hike along. Take your camera as there are beautiful spots to take pictures. Give yourself lots of time and enjoy the moment. A memorable experience.

If you walk an hour in on a trail allow enough time to get back. At this time of year dark comes quickly. The trails are not very busy so be self sufficient.

I highly recommend going to East Sooke Regional Park if you have a few hours to spend. I was squeezing it in, and wanted to take a hike and arrive at the water. Halfway through a beautiful, lush hike I decided that I couldn't turn around at the designated time I had set for myself, and I pushed on to... More

East Sooke park is my favourite park in the Sooke area. Its worth it to visit multiple times, hiking in from both ends of the park. If you want to hike the whole thing the coast trail takes a while, there's lots of ups and downs, but its incredibly beautiful. Its hard not to feel like you're in paradise!

We took the Pike's Point Trail out to the Pacific Coast Trail. The closer you get to the ocean the tougher the trail is.....moderate ability required at best. Beautiful scenery at the coast. Many people were at the beach area with there dogs.

Beautiful Setting! My favourite is the entrance to the park at Aylard Farm. The main trail leads you from the large parking area along the through the grassy meadow and apple trees to a rest area. There you can make your way down to the beach or take one of many challenging hiking trails that span the beautiful East Sooke... More

One on my favorite places to hike, lots of variety for all levels of hikers, you can go for half an hour or spend all day. The coast trail out to cabin point is always fun!
