I visit this area frequently, during all seasons actually. Beautiful walking path all around the lake, cycling is also a fun activity with many trails to different areas. There is a beach in the summer, very convenient spot.

While staying at the Hilton there on Lac-Leamy, we were able to visit this beautiful park each morning on our morning walks. Definitely worth a visit if you are looking for some peace and quiet.

We were on a tour for 2 nights in Ottawa. Along the way, the guide offered to visit "lac Leamy". Nice, wide and green. It is near by Gatineau and Ottawa for those who need some more activities.
