Have to say that this is such a fabulous park for either tenting or taking an RV to. The park is broken up into several campgrounds, all of them somewhat different and all beautifully designed. I would really recommend this Provincial Park for those just across the border in WA state, only a few hours away. Well worth the short... More

Awesome views and scenery. The lakes are offset by the majestic mountains I thoroughly recommend them.

We ignored this lake for many years as the first time I tried to swim in it I almost got frostbite! From the warm lakes in Ontario, this was a shocker to me. But 2 years ago, we only had a little time off so not enough time to trailer our boat to a warm swimming lake so we decided... More

This is a great time of year for everyone to take in the sites & sounds of this glorious park & lake. It's time for family fun or just take a casual stroll around the park.

I walk these trails several times a year and the surrounding beauty is astounding. It is amazing to have a beautiful park system so close to the city. This park and its trails are accessible year-round, much to the delight of the locals and visitors to the area. The walking trails can be light to more challenging.

Golden Ears is full of kilometre after kilometre of hiking, biking and horseback riding trails. Trail heads are marked as horse, hike/bike or multi-purpose use. This said, be prepared for anything on the trails. Also, don't stray from the trails as you could easily get disoriented. If you want adventure far into the trail system go with someone who has... This year 2016 I visited Golden Ears park a few times. Cars can go right down to the beach area We had our own canoe but rentals are available at the beach. Along with an ice cream stand. The beach area has been much improved and is wheelchair accessible. The swimming area is roped off and signs are up to... More

I climbed the golden ears in my youth. We were clueless in those days and clearly had little mountain climbing skills or background, but we did it. What gorgeous mountains on a spring or summer day, when the clouds are not around. You can see for miles and the trails are usually wet but after storms, difficult to maneuver.
