We did the 2 hour tour. This was a slow ride around the Muskoka area. Due to COVID there is limited seating, and masks were required when board and getting off the ship. The bar was open.

If you are a young couple, I would recommend just doing the 1 hour tour as it gets old quickly.

Thoroughly enjoyable two hour cruise around Lake Muskoka, with interesting historical commentary. I found the initial "greeting" by the person taking booking forms/doing Covid check somewhat...brusque. Not knowing the area I had arrived early, and did not realize the (related) museum - for which I also had a ticket - was in a different location, about a ten minute walk from the ship dock. The form/check person made me feel as if I were stupid or a nuisance for not knowing. Other than that, all the staff were very pleasant and welcoming.

Today we did the morning Pirate's Cruise which was one of the Steamship Company's Special Cruises. We took our daughter and son-in-law and small boys. What an amazing experience. Part of the fun was seeing all the costumes on Parents, Grandparents, Aunts and Uncles and the children. This was such a well organized
2 hours of fun that kept EVERYONE engaged. To add to the fun, a huge THANK YOU to all the local boaters, who also in costume, surrounded the Pirate Ship, "attacked with water guns...The Pirate Captain was a huge success with everyone - great humor and well acted. Kudos to the Captain of the Ship and all his crew.
Bit Thank You to Muskoka Steamships for the Special (Very Special) Cruise.

Very informative tour. We took the one- hour tour on Winonah II and wished we had booked the two-hour trip! Highly recommended. Make sure to visit the Discovery Centre as well - so much to see and learn about the olden days.

A great way to learn some of the rich local history from the entertaining commentary, and to view the vibrant fall colours. All necessary covid precautions were carefully enforced with plenty of space for everyone on the very comfortable Wenonah ll. The boat crew was extremely friendly and courteous. A must for anyone coming up to this area.

The Steamship experience could have been a 4 or 5, accept for the ukulele band playing on the ship. The weather wasn’t great, with cooler temperatures and showers. The band took over the entire covered deck of the stern. It would have been nice to sit in this covered area, but that wasn’t possible. You couldn’t explore the ship because the stern of the ship was totally occupied due to the band. The scenery was beautiful and the experience could have been great, even with the weather, but the ukulele band affected the entire experience. Too bad.

The steamship itself was quite comfortable and you could sit in or out as per the weather. However , the best part was the commentary supplied by someone on the cruise. He clearly knew not only what we were passing but also a large part of the history. Made the whole trip very entertaining and enjoyable.

Lovely way to spend an afternoon. We went on the Wenonah II which is a very clean, comfortable ship. Guide on board was excellent- he had so many interesting facts to offer and has been doing this job for many many years. A lovely trip. We were 2 teens, 2adults, 2seniors and all thoroughly enjoyed it

We had a great time on our little cruise. The views are wonderful. We originally booked the Segwun, as my spouse has a passion for steamers, but it got cancelled and we were switched to the Wenonah. It was equally as good. I would go again anytime. Don't miss this trip!!

What a great way to see Lake Muskoka. The front desk at Touchstone Resort recommended we gave the steamship a go and we are so glad we did. So relaxing and so great to see all of the expensive properties from the water. We learned a lot but loved the fact we could just hang out, enjoy the sun and tour the lake. it didn't feel crowded at all. The price was fine too.
