"The salmon" as we locals call it, is a quiet spot, with a large waterfall and metal salmon statue. It has a few picnic tables and sits right across a non-busy street overlooking the restigouche river with views of the Appalachian mountains on the Quebec...More

If you have time for a walk or jog along the waterfront near the bridge in Campbellton, you can't miss the massive salmon, leaping out of the water of a nicely designed fountain with waterfalls. This is a beautiful place to hang out or have...More

Located across from the visitor's info centre along the main waterfront, this is a very clean little plaza with a large fountain and statue of Restigouche Sam the salmon. Lots of families were here in the evening enjoying the sunset over the river and mountains.

This was a great Monument and tourist attraction for Campbellton..Not now it's run down and does not look good at all..It needs water !!!!!!! The walking trail is the only good thing about the plaza and city did a good job and is well kept..

If you pass near Campbellton you can stop and take a photo with the statue of the biggest salmon. It's a nice quiet place that worth to be seen.

While driving from nb to Quebec we needed a quick stop and walk. The small river walkway and salmon museum were very nicely done and did not cost anything. I would recommend.
