It is very nice there but often difficult to get in. You usually need to reserve 90 days in advance if there is a certain time you want (weekends).

This was quite the visit. The good - no more loonies at the showers! I hope the rest of the provincial parks go this way. The showers were fairly clean although one stall was out of order and looked like it had been for awhile....More

Check in was good - we were with a group and held 6 campsites. Wood was fairly reasonable for a campsite -$8 per bundle. Kids enjoyed the small beach, water was decent - no leeches, others in our group fished from the sea wall, kids...More

We spent a few nights here. The sites were private and some had nice views of the lake in D loop. Mosquitos and horse flies were horrible. Bring deep woods OFF!

A very beautiful campsite. The sites are very close to the lake, and it is very quiet. There are many trails and paths to explore, but bring bug spray. There were millions of mosquitoes! The town of Whitecourt is very close, about a 10 minute...More

Went on a hike with my kiddos, ages 2, 4, 7 & 8, they all found the trails to be very easy. Huge area, there were free paddle boats, life jackets to use.

We reserved a site in section G along the water at the point for two nights. The sites in that area are better suited to tenting and tent trailers than our 28 foot motorhome. They were really good about allowing us to move to a...More
