We stayed at the hotel that is inside the air force base - bizzare setup but you do not really know you are in an army base once you get there. The hotel rooms were wonderful - a view of the sea, peaceful and clean....More

You can go to this beach through the army border (no need to bring your pasport). The beach is clean but has a lot of fir needles on it. Mostly visited by Thai people (it was not busy at the time we were there.) It's...More

Set in the army camp the beaches are immaculately clean. There are various eating places all at very affordable prices. You may have to show your passport when entering so make sure you have it with you.

Fun place where you can feed the Langur monkeys. Mind you when you’re on a scooter you have to bring your helmet otherwise you will not get in. The beach has a lot of places where you can eat. All in all the air force...More

Nice beach outside town, take at least your passport number with you, it is inside of military area so you need to sign in. There is little shops and food areas, sunbeds. Take a scooter taxi, don’t forget to deal also take you back.

We were the only people on the beach as far as the eye could see...quite peaceful, with islands and small peninsula dotting the area

For someone who lives in Phuket, I find the flat calm waters of the Gulf a bit disconcerting; also, I prefer white dry sand to the compacted fine brownish stuff that comprises Ao Manao - it’s similar to Krabi, if you know what I mean....More

We biked to this beach from our hotel in Prachuap (Milano). It was a very easy ride, as there are bright blue bike lanes to follow. When we arrived in the morning (8 am), it was very empty (which was wonderful for us!). The beach...More

A very quiet beach on the outskirts of the town centre. Would need a car to visit unless you hotel was in that immediate vicinity

A lovely place to spend some time, lovely views, white sand, deckchairs to rent, we paid 20 baht, I though good value. The family we were with loved playing in the sea. The beach was very clean. Toilet facilities and restaurants set back from the...More
