We always stop here when in the area, it's a pretty lighthouse. It's still an active aid to navigation, so you can't climb out on the tower. The best place to take photos are either on site if you can find some shoreline, on the...More

Inexpensive ($5 per person) and the volunteers are VERY knowledgable. It was a nice stop along the way...go to Eagle Harbor Inn for lunch.

Well worth the small entry fee. There is a lot to see here. 4 buildings with different historical value. We had a great time talking to the friendly volunteers.

Pretty little summer village on lovely bay. Picnic on the shore! Going north out f town is a secondary, paved road following the west coast of the Keeweenaw Peninsula to Copper Harbor. Well worth driving. Extremely scenic.

We were there on October 11, 2016. Could still walk around the grounds and get good views. No sandy beach. Lots of rocky area in the water that the waves of Lake Superior hit. Nice viewing area for Lake pictures.
