The guides are very friendly and knowledgeable, and respectful of the dogs. They care of them as their own kids. The dogs are so cute and nice and we are encouraged to pet and hug them as much as possible! We have a half day tour and our family have a great time to enjoy the nature and the dogs.... More

Don't hesitate... book now. What an amazing day with amazing weather. The hosts were hands down exceptional even after there was a mis communication about our start time. Everything was remedied and we were off having the best day ever.

Everyone at Winterdance was very friendly. You could tell they cared about their dogs!! I went with my father for the 2 hour tour and it was great! Our tour guide John was extremely friendly and helpful. We are both planning to return next year and have referred the experience to several people.

After having a mix up with our booking initially, this was well worth it! I booked this for my boyfriend who was over from the UK for Xmas as a present. He has two huskies himself so was sold on the fact Winterdance only has purebred Siberian Huskies pulling the sleds. We made this an overnight stay the night before... More

I was incredibly impressed with the respect that the staff show each other and the animals. Mackie presented a highly engaging introduction that emphasized the importance of certain sled operating procedures (braking down hills, assisting the dogs uphill, etc.) with humour woven throughout his presentation. We chose the half day tour as it was our first time dogsledding and that... More

Did a half day morning tour on a snowy Sunday. The light falling snow just enhanced the beauty of the pristine landscape. Everything about Winterdance was wonderful... from the overall experience to the friendly, helpful guides and especially the dogs who seem to be well cared for, loved and the centre of attention. This experience is totally worth it and... More

I would definitely recommend Winterdance to anyone looking for a friendly, fun time. Our guide, John, explained everything and knew what he was talking about. All the dogs were very friendly and well taken care of. Our team of 5 dogs did a terrific job and listened to our every command. The 2 hour tour route was scenic and not... More

Get out of winter hibernation and travel up to Haliburton, Ontario to Winterdance Dogsled Tours for an amazing experience. The dogs are beautiful and very friendly. Not always to each other (Some personalities do clash.) but with people they are great. Dress warm, very warm. Having the right clothes will make the best experience. I wore my clothes for snowboarding,... More
