Lake Temiskaming is the headwaters to the Ottawa River, is located where it is because of geological forces that almost pulled this part of Canada apart about 600 million years ago, was an important transportation route for First Nation and the European people, and is...More

We spent a few hours out on the lake. The scenery was beautiful and you can go for hours on this lake.

Lots to do indoors and outdoors no matter what the season. Lots of parks, local town charm, bike trails, boardwalks, beaches, great hotels/motels and cottage rentals. Variety of hotels and restaurants

Not everyone can boast that they have a view of the lake from everywhere in town. It's a beautiful Spot, with Quebec on one side with beautiful little villages, fields and pastures and the Rocky tree-lined shore on the Ontario Side. Both equally gorgeous!

.The waterfront park at Temiskaming shores is wonderful. Long bike/skateboard/walking trail. A fabulous venue for the dog show we recently attended
