Highest quality vodka, gin, absinthe and more free tasting and distillery tour
Jun 2019 • Couples
"Must visit" for vodka, gin, and flavoured alcohol aficionados. A small, low-key tasting room in an industrial building almost in Mount Currie. But Tyler, one of the owners, is extremely knowledgeable yet low key with a Masters degree in distilling, including one year "at school" in Scotland. He will explain, in as much detail as you want, all the ingredients that create the fantastic flavours of his company's numerous products. My wife loved the gin, I fell in love with the absinthe, the cacao flavoured liqueur was delicious. We were offered more products, but left ready to go to the Legacy Liquor store in Vancouver, where most of their products are sold.

Very Educational
Jul 2018 • Family
I told my teens if they drink, and I’m not encouraging them, they should be educated about the process of distillation to bottling.

The proprietor was very knowledgeable and offered much information about potato growth in Pemberton Valley, and the process to create beverages such as vodka, gin, and absinthe. I had no idea that the outside temperatures affect the outcome.

My teens found the talk and process a tad dry, but were to shy to ask questions.

Next time I sip vodka I certainly will appreciate the science involved to create a smooth taste for my palate.

We left with souvenirs in hand to share and enjoy!

Nice visit!

On our way from Clearwater to Whistler we stopped to have a tour. Unfortunately they only do tours by appointment, but a quick look to the destillery was also very interesting! We tried the gin and vodka, both were really nice. It's definitely worth to give this place a visit!

Great fun!

Read about this place when researching things to do in Whistler. Did not do a tasting as I thought it better to not have alcohol on my breath while driving in a foreign country. They make a point of warning about DUI's.
Anyway bought schnapps and organic Hemp Vodka. It only occurred to me later that this could be a problem at customs. Contacted US Border official who assured me that as long as the ingredients did not include THC would be ok. And it was no problem. Have not tried them yet, waiting for a special occasion.

Unique vodka: definitely worth visiting
Aug 2016 • Friends
Some friends and I took a trip to Pemberton and saw this place listed on trip advisor so we went there for a visit. They feature vodka, gin and a variety of seasonal schnapps and liqueurs all made from potatoes. Vodka is not my favourite spirit but their namesake "Schramm" bottle was probably the most unique and flavorful straight vodka I've ever tasted.

The worker there, Jake, gave us a great run down on how everything was made and was really generous in letting us try all of the different products.

This place is located right off the highway and I hope they put a sign along the highway as I'm sure it would attract a lot of visitors who might not have otherwise known about it.

Definitely worth visiting if you're in the Pemberton area. Try the vodka, strawberry liqueur and summer schnapps

Great local business and excellent customer service.

We really enjoyed our personal tour of the Pemberton distillery. Our host, Tyler, was very knowledgeable and obviously passionate about his family business. The single malt whiskey and the vodka made with local potatoes were a hit! Sadly they were out of Apple Brandy however we will be back to pick up more.

Tasteful Visit
Jan 2016 • Couples
My husband and I tracked this out of the way venue from Whistler. It was a beautiful 40 minute drive. We arrived a little early, but they saw us and opened immediately. We did not take a tour, but we really enjoyed the free tasting and all the info that went with it. We bought a couple of products to save for an evening at home.

Awesome Vodka, Gin and Local Culture
Jul 2015 • Couples
We stopped by the Pemberton Distillery for their 4:00 Saturday afternoon tour. We were welcomed right away and given tasty samples of of our choosing. Tyler, the Distillery Master, was very knowledgeable and put on a great tour. The story of how the Distillery came to be was just as organic as the spirits they make. We highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Pemberton, Whistler, or even for those just driving by.

Amazing Gin, Nice Tour, Generous Pours When Sampling
Jun 2015 • Couples
I hope the "generous pour" doesn't get someone in trouble, but I had to give up tasting after a few as I knew I'd be too tipsy!
The gin is so good. I'm a gin-lover, my husband isn't, but even he said it might have been the best gin he's ever had.
The liquers are a nice tough, with some interesting variations you don't see here often.
Our tour guide knew his stuff, and answered any questions we had.
A nice break from outdoor pursuits in Pemberton!

Unique distillery produces unique spirits
Aug 2014 • Couples
Technically I'm more of a beer snob than a spirits snob but I've had my fair share of gin, whiskey and vodka. You won't be disappointed in visiting the Pemberton Distillery if you're looking for a unique tasting experience. The crafters here appear to strive to make unusual combinations of flavors using a wide variety of ingredients that almost exclusively will leave you thinking "wow, I've never had anything like that before" and in a GOOD way, mind you! Most of their spirits are distilled from potatoes, a fact you'll note strongly in the brandy and vodka. I highly recommend the German Shnapps (I'm not even going to try to spell their name for it correctly) and their Gin. On the shelf behind their tasting counter, they have a display of all the ingredients used to flavor the gin. They certainly took a gamble in using some of the spices and I, for one, think it paid off
