A MUST FOR ANY FAMILY WITH TWEENS OR TEENS..I first ventured here as a grumpy teenager back in the early 90's. The Aspens and Sliverbirch were the most amazing golden colours and there is a picturesque little red covered bridge on the way to base camp / parking. The rocky ride up the mountain was a blast. I did't get... More

First time in the park, blown away by its beauty and peacefulness. The best maintained, marked, and well-signed hiking trails in BC! We stayed at the lodge but the campsites looked lovely and well spaced with outhouses in good condition. Fall is the perfect time to visit, no bugs! Bundle up with your warmest clothes and enjoy the spectacular golden... More

We were happy and pleasantly surprised to find the campsite had access to outhouses, the campgrounds were well set up, the lodge and everything looked great, but we opted to stay in tents where our views weren't too shabby at all ;) Phenomenal hiking with striking views that will give you goosebumps. Still seems surreal! Definitely take the shuttle up... More

Great views away from lodge and camp ground areas, camp grounds looked like timber west logged them, toilets were putrid, campfire smoke and obnoxious school groups killed the air quality, peace and quiet. seems the lodge needs to practice proper garbage disposal might help to keep it bear free for another 20 years maybe

Great for hiking, a lot of trails and the scenery is like a dream by the lakes.... I recommends for mediums and high performance hikes, from 2 our 8 hours of hiking, I have a wonderful time camping the place is clean, the tents area are the best sand box that I ever set up my tent, I enjoyed watching... This area has some great hikes and views and i f your in decent shape can see a lot in a day. I think the ride up 100.00 ea and the cabins are way to expensive unless you plan on camping. I think its a one time thing or better yet stay in Banff see more for your money!

Fantastic place to camp! Splurge for the transportation set up through the lodge. Make sure to get out and go hiking. It is definitely some of the best hiking in BC.

The park trails and facilities are well maintained and the scenery is breathtaking! We stayed at Cathedral Lakes Lodge and loved the balance of rustic amenities with superb food and live entertainment, a true hidden gem.

We hiked from here this holiday weekend and while the camp sites were busy, it still felt like a quiet, serene, relaxing place. We took the transport up and boy was it worth it!!! The hikes from the campsite were incredible, and we were glad we hadn't had to carry all of our stuff to the base camp - what... More

I have to admit, I went hiking there quite a few years ago. It still ranks as the most beautiful, and varied terrain area I have ever hiked in. Picturesque beyond belief. Beautiful mountain peaks, and geological formations that defy imagination. Imagine sitting on a mountain ledge high above the lake eating your lunch. We stayed in a cabin and... More
