Stopped in here to look at whatever was on offer and there was everything. This is a good locally-owned shop in which to purchase cards, gifts for all occasions, both Nunavut-based or for graduations, birthdays and family occasions.

Worth the short jaunt out of the downtown area to visit a unique, packed and interesting store! Also it carries many gorgeous Cape Dorset artwork saving an airplane trip there, the Art capital of Nunavut!

We found the place out near the airport. It was marked as recoverables but also as Northern Collectables. There were lots of Inuit carvings, but also other Inuit art, clothing etc., all in a small space. Prices seemed reasonable

This little shop is not as out of the way with the opening of the new airport terminal. They have paintings, prints, carvings and textiles including some skin mittens. (Polar bear is not soft and fluffy.) things are not well displayed but you can find...More

This place looks a bit like a "hole in the wall," very unassuming. It is off the beaten path and much smaller (in fact, the space is cramped) than the "other" gallery in the center of town. But, I found more pieces that interested me...More

There was a hearty inventory in this store. As a novice to Northern art, I had no clue what was good caliber work, what materials were worth the prices being asked for, or anything about the carvers and artists. I would have welcomed more initiative...More

Well worth a visit. You can buy prints, carvings, and interesting artefacts across a broad price range.

This place is exactly as advertised in some of the posted pics. Wall to wall collection. The operator has a network of carvers and the prices are very good. I bought multiple pieces at a discount. The selection is not as large as another shop...More

Lots and lots of local craftys, cravings galour. Little high in price, so shop around before deciding on what you like. Spent over an hour her, lots to look at.

There is a large collection of arts and crafts here, but the prices are higher than the museum gift shop for similar items. More of an "experience" than Carvings Nunavut. Less curated than Nunavut Fine Arts and Crafts.
