A smaller aquarium when compared to larger ones I have been at. This is a unique aquarium. The aquarium has many smaller tanks that all have local sea life in the tanks. While a no hands in tank is in place, for good reason, you have very close viewing. Lots of explanations about all the fish, sea stars, urchins, etc.... More

One of a kind Aquarium. Staff are so knowledgable and always walking around to talk. Went with my family and sisters- all in our 20s, and we loved it. They rotate the things you can touch while you are there, so basically you can touch everything (in that area). It's amazing to see what lives in the local ocean!

We were told it's going to close on November 27, 2016. They release most of sea creature back to the ocean. I thought 14 dollars were a little pricey for admission.

A must see when on the Pacific Rim. A small museum filled with so many sea creatures and even more educational info all about the local flora & fauna. We spent a couple of hours at least. Well displayed aquariums that will without a doubt teach you something you did not know & challenge a few you thought you knew.... More

This is one of the smallest aquariums we have been to but they have a great collection of local creatures all of which are released every November. Great for a rainy day!

Run by locals, the girls that we spoke to had a passion for their area and the marine life. Worth a visit.

Ucluelet Aquarium is probably one of my favourite aquariums visited. It feel less like a theme park with sea creatures and more like a nursery for the animals in their care for a while. The staff, whilst busy going about there tasks, were friendly and always ready to stop and talk. The fact that the aquarium operates a catch and... More

Although small this aquarium has lots to offer and is worth a visit to find out all the creatures that live in its harbours waters.

Took a little excursion from Tofino to Ucelet one rainy day and stumbled into this sweet little aquarium. What a lovely way to expose the little one's AND adults to sea life. The tanks are well taken are of and many are laid out to replicate the bottom of the sea floor. Enjoyable experience!

Great place to learn about marine biology close hand. It is small, but we'll kept. All staff are educated and eager to talk about the local diversity of marine life.
