This is great park just outside of Picton. There are several trails available that range from easy to moderate. Lots of parking available. Good place to get some exercise. Also in the park is "Bird House City" a quirky collection of about 100 birdhouses. It...More

Thought I’d add a review for this place seeing as the trails have now been freshly marked and it’s super easy to get around. We enjoyed it, as did our pooch. There is some poison ivy around so be careful but the paths were clear....More

Just outside of Picton and easy to find. Good parking. Trails are wonderful for a stroll or more energetic hiking. A pond is easily accessible for smaller kids to enjoy

As everyone says the trails are not well marked, but we had no problem getting around since it's not very big. Just pay attention to where the road is and keep it on your left, or right coming back. There are some steeper climbs which...More

We spent an hour walking in the woods of Macaulay Mountain and enjoyed the nature. While we did see some markers with red or green paint, they are elusive and somewhat faded. There is a map at the beginning of the route, but no indication...More

I went to the Macaulay Mountain Conservation area. I didn't particular care for the location. The bird houses were replicas of areas in and around the county. It was neat but not something I would return to see. Just not my cup of tea.

The Bird Houses are "Out of this World". The work that has been put in them is awesome. Just past the Bird House park there is a GREAT walking trail up the Mountain. A must to do if you are up to it!
