A little difficult to find, but one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen. Visited early in the morning and had the entire space to ourselves.

This was our first visit to Sandbanks and absolutely worth the day pass purchased. The beaches were very clean. Given the very warm weather, it would be nice to see a few more amenities being kept open until at least the end of September, but...More

This is one of the most beautiful beaches I’ve seen in Ontario. The sand reminds me of the beach in Dominican Republic, and the water, because it’s so shallow, it was very warm.

Beautiful, clean beach that is shallow for a long way and has wonderful waves. We had a great time in the water.

You have to pay 17$ for parking the area. We stayed less than hour because wind was so hard it was impossible to read for example. With calm weather place seemed to be perfect. Clean, free washrooms.

This was our first visit to Sandbanks in the summer! We have walked there when there was ice on the sand. But the summer beach is beautiful. We sat on Sandbanks Beach and my husband swam - a little cold for me. The beach looks...More

Put your toes on this beach and you will never look back. Walk into the gorgeous, clear water with its sandy rippled bottom and you'll want to float in there forever.

We visited the Dunes Beach within Sandbanks and were thoroughly impressed. Understand, this is not a Florida or Caribbean style beach and it is on West Lake. Water was really refreshing and we enjoyed many dunks. The further you go out, it can get a...More

We did camp this summer and I know there are several places available to chose from. I would suggest to find a map of the park and choose accordingly. We stayed by the river, not quite close to the main beach. All the... More

Outlet Beach or Sandbanks Beach are the best for swimming and enjoying the waves on a windy day. Dunes Beach is more calm for young children but doesn't have the clear water like Outlet and Sandbanks beach.

The entrance is at County road 12. Yes, you can go to all the beaches. Keep in mind that it fills up fast. If your just going for the day, especially on the weekend, you will want to get to the park very early.
