Beautiful Menyuan Rape Flower

Blue sky, white clouds leisurely, beautiful villages and yellow rape flowers are fused together; the land becomes a sea of blossoming rape plants.

We arrived a week late. Although already beatiful place, but we heard the place are with much better views 1 week earlier. There are 3-5 stages for you to take images. And all over places, angles of the yellow flowers. Plus the big mountain view as the background.

It is a very different place than the city, and you could enjoy the very fresh air sweeping your hair.

The Menyuan Plain of NW China was certainly one of my highlights of my visit to this vast region. It takes a long road trip of 2 hrs to get there from Xining through some hair raising mtn passes. However, the sight of yellow fields as far as the eye can see, wonderfully bordered by snow capped mountains is truly... More

This was one of the day trips that I took while staying in Xining. There was a long distance bus that drove me to a small town and along the way the rapeseed flowers become this sea of yellow as you get near the town. By the way I missed out on the last portion in the town if you... More
