Now part of the Stonegate group, this ex Wetherspoons pub has a very similar character to how it was but the menu is so much better. Very friendly staff. Well worth a visit if you're in the area and need a drink and food.

Since this place was taken over it has hit rock bottom. Not much more to say really, unless of course you want to sit in there from early morning until close.

We have visited the Regent on many occasions. It is not wetherspoons flagship pub and is in need of some updating. However, this is more than made up for by the selection and quality of beers, the price of them and the effort the staff...More

We eat at the Regent regularly as the food is consistently good and very reasonably priced. The breakfasts are excellent as well.
