Good house to visit with a childhood museum which brings back memories gardens ok too. Works out expensive if your not a national trust member though.

Just visited the 70's Christmas at Sudbury which was a trip down memory lane it was fantastic to relive the old ways of celebrating Christmas. The Blue Peter advent crown brought back a lot of memories

We went on a day when it was out of school holidays and a damp dull day so the outside areas were not in use as much. Unsure about the dog situation as don't have a dog to worry about. Sorry couldn't be more presisce
