I rented my bike at the western terminus of the trail, and set out towards Wellfleet. It seemed like I was at the bike rotary in no time, and in just under two hours I was at the northern end. Timing was good, as I was ready for lunch and took advantage of a most excellent French bistro about 50... More

Travelled in September off-season, hired bikes & had a wonderful scenic ride to Chatham. Because the path is paved, it was great to cycle along. There are beautiful lake views all along the trail & Chatham itself is delightful to visit. Electric bikes are easy & fun. I hired mine from Pedego Cape Cod which is easy to find on... More

On our way back to our hotel we passed a parking lot for the Cape Cod Rail Trail and decided to stop for a walk.Great paved level path for easy walking. A relaxing way to end our day.

We had a hard time finding a 'trail head' and once it was found (by the fire station), we took off. We thought we were on the Chatham Bike Trail which supposedly sort of circles the city. Imagine our surprise when we saw "Welcome to Hartwich". Our little 5 mile bike ride ended up being closer to 12-14 miles. So....yes,... More

Went on a day trip to east Falmouth Mass., to the Cape Cod Fairgrounds. It was a nice day when we arrived we all bought tickets for the scallop dinner, they also had a chicken dinner too. They both came with French fries ,coleslaw, and a can of soda. The scallops were some of the best I had ever had,... More

Riding the Cape Cod bike trails, whether you bring your own bike or rent one from the numerous bike shops that have located near the trail, is one of the best things to do on the Cape. The trail is mostly flat and a great ride for the novice as well as the experienced bike rider. When you ride, remember... More

We were 20 bikers and rode our bikes from Brewster to Salt Pond Visitor's Center. We walked around the Salt Pond which was very enjoyable; along the trail you pass other salt ponds as well. We also took a side trail down to the beach from the visitor's center; it was hilly but very manageable. Lovely paved trail; great biking... More

A wonderful way to travel around the Cape and avoid all the heavy traffic on Route 6. The trail is well signed and maintained. There are signs everywhere that help you get from the Rail Trail to various town centers. We saw locals committing, vacationers getting from place to place, walkers, runners, avid cyclists, all sorts of folks! We really... More

Bike rental was great … trail amazing… but me and my son got lice from the helmets! BEWARE!! Bring your own! Really gross. If they can't provide clean helmets then they should not provide them.
