Such a spectacular stretch of coastline, and ideal for a walk along the top of the cliffs (keep away from the edge though!), or along the beach.

The coast is breathtaking and was well worth our long drive from the Cotswolds. It was truly awe inspiring. There were few tourists when we visited and perfect weather. It was a highlight of our trip to England.

Read information about the location and suppose people are coming here to find fossils. There are families with kids, old and young with all sorts of tools trying to find a piece of fossils to bring home. Unfortunately, it has been windy and cloudy so...More

Hello! I will be heading to Jurassic Coast for a day hike in a week. I plan to visit the Weymouth area, the beach, and Durdle Door. I will be commuting from London Waterloo. May I know which stop I should alight, and how are my travel options from there onwards? Lastly, which walking route would you recommend for a day hike? I see many guides on Jurassic Coast's Website! Thank you (:

Thanks Caroline! Can you suggest where we should stay of all these places?
Hi, Pamela. What would you like to know about this attraction? Hello. We are coming from Falmouth and only have one day & evening around Jurassic Coast. Which is the best area to see in a shorty time & do you have a hotel or nice little b&b that you can recommend. Coming from Canada. We have been to England MANY times but only now visiting Devon/Cornwall. As we have such little time I wonder...best views, between where and where? We are fit enough to walk & love to do so. Any help would be greatly apprec. as we don't want to miss the best of the coast. Thank you.

Hi Pamela, A good place to base your trip to the Jurassic Coast would be Lyme Regis. This is a very picturesque town with many accommodation options and places to eat. Famous fossil hunter, Mary Anning was from Lyme Regis... More
