Free entry with several rooms... worth a wander if your up that way. I would say it's museum that once you've been in once that's sufficient.

A lovely little extra on your visit to the Castle Estate park, this is a small museum absolutely rammed with quirky little items from around Bristol and beyond. It’s mostly based on domestic items rather than exotic treasures, and includes dolls’ houses, trains, lead animals,...More

I took an elderly relative here to visit a collection that promised to interest her. Entry is free - whoopee! Unfortunately, what their website doesn't tell you is that almost everything is inaccessible to wheelchairs or the elderly. There is no lift, and the majority...More

Great little museum that is near a beautiful walk through Blaise Estate. The museum has a good collection of toys, kitchen implements and clothing through the ages. It is free and there is an accompanying video about the house that was most fascinating.

This is a nice museum of household items - kitchen appliances and products, heating products, toys, clothing, washing products, etc. It is a living museum showing how people used to live. I found it fascinating and felt a bit old as I could identify having...More

I’m afraid I didn’t enjoy this museum. I found it tired. The collection of homeware I didn’t find old enough to be of interest (some items I’ve seen at grandparents house) and same goes for the fashion section - the items that are 60s etc....More
