We visited the cathedral during Bristol Open Doors weekend. We were lucky enough to get places on the roof top tour. The guide was incredibly knowledgeable and took us through the roof space above the cathedral ceiling and the roof and finally onto the roof...More

I adore old buildings and this one didn't disappoint. If you're looking for layers of history, hidden details, and spectacular stonework this is definitely the place for you to visit. The modern stained glass windows - replacing those destroyed in the war - are also...More

Visited inside for the first time. The entrance is free but donations are encouraged, my preferred way of donating to the church. Lovely old chapels with extension. Beautiful stained glass. Friendly host on entry.

You don't have to pay for tickets as you go in. It has a very fascinating architecture and views. I recommend you all to visit. It is a good example of a 12th Century cathedral

The church architecture sone of a kind. The detail it has and the history behind it was just beautiful. I couldn't resit to take a moment at the corner prayer chapel..tranquility galore.

Its free to enter unlike so many others. Very helpful volunteers around and talks available too. Very good stained glass windows. An excellent organ and generally very good chamber and chapels. Well worth it.

On a wet Sunday. The Sabbath. The door to the Lords House is firmly shut at 3.15. Yes, that is early, isn’t it? Not impressed.
