We recently had a Christmas party at the Bristol Zoo Clifton Pavilion, it was a fantastic venue. The staff were very professional, the venue was elegant and beautifully presented, the food was superb and the disco was great. I highly recommend this venue if you...More

A zoo should feel like your almost in nature watching the animals in a minature version of their natural habitat. This felt like a pet shop with animals squeezed into kennels and boxes for people to gawp at. The only thing missing was the price...More

Defiantly the highlight of the day was the penguins and sea loins swimming under water, my 10 month old son was so excited and frankly so was I.

This is a lovely zoo - great for family with kids from quite small up to early/mid teens. Really easy to wander around, great activity signs (like are you faster than a cheetah/aardvark..etc where you sprint set distance and compare your time with whichever animal)...More

The zoo was relatively compact and you can see most animals within a few hours. Enough to keep younger and older children entertained, mainly the seals, penguins for some action and the apes for interest. The enclosures for the animals are quite small and there...More

Fab day out. Pre-booked online, so we fast tracked in. An excellent map to navigate us around. Price per person was also very reasonable.

We are members of the zoo so attend quite a lot. Its nice to see the focus on smaller animals and conservation. The down side is that it can be very crowded at weekends and holidays.

I had never visited Bristol Zoo before and was unsure what to expect when I saw the size on a map, however I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived. Unlike many zoos, Bristol is laid out in a way that allows you to view all...More

I live next to the zoo and it is approx. 25 minute drive from the airport (without traffic). There is a taxi rank for Arrow Taxis outside arrivals and they have the contract at the airport. Plenty of them but they aren't... More
