Clevedon Court is a lovely medieval manor, but compared to many other National Trust properties its quite small. If you are visiting Tyntesfield then probably best to visit Clevedon Court at the same time. The house is only open a short while on an afternoon, and entry is by timed ticket - easily obtained. This is presumably to limit the... More

Very close to Tynesfield and as we were visiting there thought we'd visit Clevedon Court on the way past. This was my second visit but the first were the gardens were accessible (heavy rain last time). The staff were all very welcoming, friendly and informative. It appeared to me that improvements have been made in the car parking, cafe (still... More

Lovely place with nice helpful staff. Café is a bit 'make do and mend', outside with service from a trailer but all the more charming for it. Steep terraced garden at the back of the house, sadly spoilt by noise of nearby motorway.

Clevedon Court is one of the smaller National Trust properties, but is in my opinion worth a visit. There is a lot to see in each room, and everything is nicely identified. The tour flows from room to room, downstairs and then upstairs. We found it extremely enjoyable, and informative. The guides are well informed and very helpful and amusing.... More

Went to see this house yesterday and found the following. The house is very pretty around the outside. The interior of the house has a couple of very interesting collections including Elton Pottery. The Gardens are steeply terraced and OK. It is clear that the NT has not spent much money on these gardens. The café is poor due to... More

The timings to visit here are limited so check in advance. The home was extremely old and only certain areas are accessible. It does not have the size or grandeur of other stately homes but this is a real family home. The proximity to a road and the M5 significantly detracts from the experience.

We went to Clevedon Court for the first time this week. It was well worth the visit. It was a lovely sunny day and plenty of other people were there too. The house is quite small as manor houses go but still big enough to hold plenty of interest. It is owned by the National Trust and they have well-informed... More

The building is packed with history and nice local glassware which was very well made and clever designs. Each room you were allowed to view was impressive and the guide in each room was able to ask any questions you had. There were also handy guide books to read about each room as well. The gardens were nice and we... More

A lovely place to visit. The house is nicely laid out. The National trust guides are excellent. Lovely walk round the grounds and well worth a visit on a nice afternoon. We had a lovely cup of coffee and scone in the outside cafe. Well done national trust.

If you travel from Nailsea to Clevedon on the Tickenham Road you will come across Clevedon Court on your right. This very majestic 14th century manor house which is maintained by the National Trust is very well worth a visit. There are lovely grounds to walk round & spend some time. Very peaceful place.
