Steep Holm is only o0en for around 12 days per year, you get to it by taking a boat from Weston Supar Mare but you have to land on the island at high tide and you can only leave at high tide. Let me give...More

The best part of this trip was the boat ride over,which only took ten minutes from Weston super mare,you are stuck on the island for over ten hours .Don't go in the mating season , which is June to end of July as the seagulls...More

This island is situated 8 miles from Weston-super-Mare in the Bristol Channel. It had a monastery here in mediaevil times with connections to Woodspring Priory on the mainland. There is usually a team of archaeologists at work and they have uncovered bones and other artefacts....More

yes there are toilets outside the barracks they also sell snacks but only crisps cereal bars chocolate etc so bring a picnic :)

no the island is private so you can't land without permission and even if you did there is a gate on the only path to the summit that is kept locked until the visits are arranged to be honest it would probably cost more to... More

madiera road car park past knightstone harbour and up the hill follow signs for long stay parking was £3 for 24 hours and 5-10 mins walk back to the quay
