I have lived in Bristol for most of my life but this was my first visit to the Botanic Gardens. What a lovely place. We came specifically to see Luke Jerram's exhibition after hearing about it on the radio. However the whole gardens are lovely...More

Kept meaning to try this, installation (impossible garden) convinced. Really good value at £5:00. Small enough to manage, interesting enough for decent visit. Volunteers very knowledgable. Fabulous tea room, lovely to sit outside and enjoy view.

Absolutely delightful series of twelve installations based on vision and visual perception which works brilliantly in the Botanic Garden grounds.

To be fair, I have little interest in gardening...my wife does that. But I do like gardens and this one is very good. Quite precise as one might expect from a university enterprise. Even the weeds are labelled...well ok perhaps not but most everything else...More

The variety in and upkeep of these gardens is of a high standard. Whenever we have a chance and the weather is sunny and warm we make it a mission to visit this place. I'd recommend spending at least 2-3 hours to fully appreciate it.

Although I cannot speak on behalf of the Botanical Gardens I can advise that they do have parking facilities for coaches and they are not far from the city centre. Go up Park Street, then all the way to the top of... More
