We visited with our friends and their toddler - it's great for little kids to look at farm animals, especially when they've got babies. There's a few places for them to play too. And given it's free (although it's good to give a donation!), it makes for a very good value few hours of entertainment.

It is interesting to find a farm in the centre of south Bristol. Great place to take a young family, with good food in the cafe.

This farm is free to visit and has enough on offer to be able to spend around 2-3 hours there with a young child. The food is good in the cafe and we do recommend it.

I went to visit the farm with my boyfriend. It was good but we finished the visit in less than an hour. I feel it would be better with young children though. It is free to enter and walk around. The cafe sells some lovely food and there is a shop which sells jewellery, soap, paintings and various others things.... More

I went to the zoo a couple of weeks ago but this was better! They had sheep my favourite animals! I wish I could keep one and take it on a ship as we could have such an amazing adventure! We could go on a ship and visit zoos farms and bridges! This farm was great apart from the sheep... More

Windmill City Farm is a beautiful hidden treasure. It was definitely a cold autumnal day that we visited with our young family and certainly plenty to keep them amused and ask to go back again! It's a bit like Dr Who's tardis (if you're familiar with the character). It feels like it keeps expanding as you explore and keep finding... More

It' s a lovely place to get close to some animals in the city. Free and no meter costs on Saturday so even better. Our 2yr grandson loves it. Day was too cold to be there much longer so warmed up with a nice filter coffee in the cafe.

We don't live very far away, but never went for some reason. We decided to go as it was a celebration day for the Farm's 40th birthday. There was music, food, activities for children etc. It was a great day. The animals were varied and friendly. Loved it.

Great fun with our three year old Granddaughter talking to the animals. Plus we had a delicious lunch for all three of us at the Cafe.
