Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

One of the premier spaces in the city, it was enjoyable strolling around it and seeing and visiting some of the landmark majestic architecture.
None more so than the fabulous Cathedral. And not being overshadowed, the superlative City Hall is across from it.

This is a nice place to sit for a while & watch the world go past. Lots of university students relaxing on the grass, skateboarders & friends just meeting up for a chat
The garden is nicely kept with bright, fresh flowers & well cut grass.
No intimidating drunks or people sleeping on benches (at least during the day).

Public green space between the cathedral and the City Council. Nice place to walk, rest or have lunch. There are also other interesting buildings around like the Library. The University isn´t far so it´s often visited by students.

This is just off the centre, a peaceful, relaxing area to people watch. The City Hall is on one side and the beautiful Bristol Cathedral on the other, all at the bottom of Park St, famous for shops and bars.

Wasn't sure what I was walking around looking at. It's right in the centre of town and just nice to walk through.

Walked through the green on a very pleasant Autumn day and nearly forgot we were in the heart of England. The architecture is very grand and gives the feel of a city bigger than Bristol and it is well worth tourists taking a look.

Been here countless times & it's a lovely area for picnics, waiting for friends/family or events to start or picking tickets up for them

It's okay but if you want a scenic lawned area you're better off with the no-too-distant Queen Square. The Council house faces onto college green, with a couple of fountains either end. The neighbouring lovely Cathedral is the best thing about College Green, and it's next to trendy shops on Park Street. The Green usually has boys on skateboards performing (or failing to!) interesting stunts, really it's not so much of interest for itself as for the surrounding attractions.

Lovely, clean, street food market with a good selection of world foods. Tables and chairs for all. Great atmosphere.
