Mike is so knowledgeable about all the street art, buildings and history of Bristol. Leant some good diners, restaurants and drinks in Bristol from him. Definitely one of the best I have ever met.

Myself, my husband and our 10 week old son took a trip to Bristol for a little trip. Not having been to Bristol before, we wanted to learn more about the history of the city.
Totally recommend this tour!!
We walked around the old city centre and harbour areas with our guide. He was friendly, knowledgeable and happy to be flexible around our son as needed. We were lucky in that we were the only ones booked on the tour for a Monday afternoon, so we had our own private tour!
5 stars for sure! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This is the second tour I have done with Mike. Absolutely faultless. There is little to add as it is quite clear his knowledge is based his lived experience of Bristol and meticulous research. Go, you won’t be disappointed.

Mike is brilliant- incredibly knowledgeable about lots of different things - he crams in loads of interesting facts & he makes the tour good fun too. We loved it. Plus it turned out it was just us two on Saturday morning, so extra special. Would not hesitate to recommend Mike’s tour.

Superb experience, well worth the money. Very informative saw places you would miss on your own. Guide was excellent, good walking pace. Don’t miss, it was one of the best we have been on.

What can I say. You turn up to a guided tour expecting a large group going on the tour but it ends up just being yourself. Must be because it was a Monday! Anyway Mike the tour guide was was really informative and he knew his stuff about Bristol. From the time before Brunel the medieval Bristol to Brunel and the construction of the Clifton suspension bridge. To Banksy all the way to the present with the pulling down of the statue of Edward Colston and Black Lives Matter. Plus much more that hasn’t sunk in yet! Overall this is the perfect introduction to the city of Bristol. Thanks Mike and thanks for the pointers for which pubs to go to in the city.

This was a truly outstanding and fun tour! Saw wonderful historical places in Bristol and gained a comprehensive but entertaining understanding of the city from Roman days until now. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and engaging and had all kinds of stories behind the stories. Would do again in a heartbeat!
