Good venue

Went here in February to see Wilkinson, the venue itself is quite small but it was allot nicer than I had expected. The drinks are expensive; around £7-£8 for a double, and the... read more

Went to a gig at this venue in March. I had been to this venue many times, including when it was the Locarno. I hadn't been for many years and am now glad that it was that long between visits. There are ground and upper floors and a great wide stage. However, when we went the bar upstairs seemed to... More

Went here in February to see Wilkinson, the venue itself is quite small but it was allot nicer than I had expected. The drinks are expensive; around £7-£8 for a double, and the bar staff are really strict with ID but that's to be expected. There was a big que to get in before the event but it moved fast,... More

Whenever I've been to this venue its been over sold, over crowded. Last night was the same, packed to the rafters, no room to move, people squashed into every corner, every spot on the stairs. If you wanted to leave half way through, no chance.

Saw Band of Horses here, 21 Feb 2017 and the shortcomings of the venue rather outweighed the quality of the show. Apparently the venue has a capacity of 2,500. However that does not mean all patrons will get a decent view (or indeed any view) of the stage. The venue was full which meant that dozens, maybe even hundreds of... More

Really like this venue, the staff were brilliant and served beer with a smile, Thought the acoustics were excellent and Anthrax sounded great, little surprised how early it all began , but over all a great place to see live music. I will return .

I attended the Evil B event with my friends which I had purchased tickets for in November. I had been looking forward to this event for a long time and had also travelled hours to get to it. Entered the venue at midnight with my friends and had a ticket valid for 2 people, we got in fine and was... More

For an O2 Academy, I expected a decent level of quality when booking. From the outside it looked okay, but when the doors opened and I got closer I got the overwhelming stench of urine, vomit and alcohol. The first step I took when inside I almost fell over, as the floor was so disgustingly sticky. Every floor was like... More

I've been here a fair few times. The venue attracts quite good bands and groups so it's worth the drive to see groups that don't quite make it to Wales. There's parking pretty much under the venue, and occupant great transport links. We went for dinner prior to the event-there are loads within walking distance of the venue. Bristol is... More

I visited the O2 last night for the first time, with my partner and a friend to see Kate Tempest. My partner is visually impaired so I called ahead of time to see if it was ok to bring his assistance dog Pebble, and the call taker was nothing but helpful and knowledgeable. When we arrived staff directed us to... More
