Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I used this path today on a training ride from Redditch to Bath. I really didnt want to risk riding on the A46 so was looking at alternative options, and up popped this route.
Really good, and all tarmaced surface, well done to whoever agreed to finance this venture.
Now for the but, good grief it was busy at the Bristol end. So many people, and worse still so many people that havent got any respect for other road users.
I even came up behind two speed skaters that were utilizing the whole width of the path. And then to rub salt into the wound, both of them were wearing ear buds, so unable to hear my drys from behind them, so selfish!
That aside it's a superb and safe link between the two cities. Will certainly use it again if I'm daft enough to ride from Redditch to Bath!

The service provided by Harry and James was excellent and they were very flexible and friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed the return ride from Bristol harbour to Portishead via Avon Gorge. The bikes are great which are manufactured by a local company called Temple. I understand they also do guided tours. Excellent value and pick up point is very central.

We rented two bikes to ride from Bristol to Bath on the very nice old railway path. Cycle the City provided hassle free online booking (pay with PayPal), and James the owner, is a very nice and professional guy. He is based out of a lovely cafe/pub/restaurant, the Harbourside Number 1, adjacent to the Tourist office on the harbor. There are no bikes outside but if you booked on the internet he’ll be there waiting for you. It’s a great place to have lunch after your ride. I also fully recommend the Bristol to Bath ride - you can always come back with the train if the round trip seems very long.

Took the harbour tour on a beautifully sunny day. Our guide, Holly, was very personable and took time to ensure we saw everything. It was a great way to see a fine part of the city. Cheap too!

We did this yesterday as a hen party activity. There were 12 of us altogether. We stopped at 4 points along the route for Pablo to teach us about the wine we were tasting and some history of Bristol. It was absolutely brilliant and I would highly recommend it. Thanks Pablo.

A group of nine friends, we went for a two-hour tour that included stops for drinks on a Saturday late morning.

The bikes were brand new and individually adjusted for us. Our guide was entertaining, knowledgeable and entirely at ease with us.

She had no trouble adjusting the tour to suit our needs and had obviously put in thought beforehand.

It was a different way to see the city, and was convenient and straightforwards. I had a great time.

Highly recommended!
