Well known as Britain's oldest theatre if offers an intimate atmosphere which cannot be bettered. What is more, since its refurbishment it has all the comforts of a modern theatre! You must vistit it!

currently in the throws of building work but a very charming theatre. Helpful staff - choose seats carefully if you want a decent view of productions.

I went to see The Jungle Book in Street dance. It was brilliant. I took a 9 and 11yr old with me and they loved the dancing and acrobatics. Very catchy which ended with all the audience on their feet dancing. Thanks for a great...More

A return visit to this excellent theatre Another wonderful Kneehigh production, at the Old Vic The venue is quite small and intimate with the audience being drawn into the production.

Have visited the Old Vic on two occasions and enjoyed wonderful productions. My grandchildren enjoyed the story and the set and acting was first class. Lovely atmosphere, very old worldly.

Great play but this theatre needs a revamp. Smells very damp. Long queues for the ladies too. However, it is in a good central location.

Great platform for the Old Vic School to perform. Still an old theatre feel but brought up to meet today's discerning customers.

The interior has the charm of old English cheaters. It's not big and the stage is well visible from every point. The shows are always very interesting, we went to see a funny comedy, the actors were really very good.
