Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We took this walk around Bristol. In 2 hours covered a lot of the main central parts and understood the layout better. Guide was excellent. Well worth the reasonable £8.50 each charge and I felt it right to give the guide a bit extra for doing a great job.

A fun and informative two hour tour of the city’s highlights with Luke was a very memorable part of our time in Bristol. Luke was very keen to share his wealth of knowledge about the city’s history and did so with references to the modern day. Lots of facts and plenty of humour while we strolled between the key sites. This was great value for money; and we would recommend the tour to any visitor and to anyone new to the city.

A thoroughly diverse and entertaining experience. The guide, Luke was very knowledgeable about the subject and delivered the information with good humour and style, providing details which would not normally be included in books. Having visited Bristol many times before we were surprised at the amount of street art there is in the city.

As a newcomer to Bristol I really enjoyed this walk around Bristol. Luke was an entertaining and informative guide, the street art (and where to find it) was amazing as was learning about how Bristol evolved over the centuries to became the city is is now. Highly recommended.

Luke was punctual, personable and entertainingly enlightening about a broad range of aspects of Bristol’s history and culture. Particular focus was on the street art scene in the city, which was fascinating and drew our attention to parts of Bristol we might not otherwise have explored or noticed properly. A thoroughly enjoyable 2 hours.

I would put this at the top of my list for must-do's in Bristol. The guide is entertaining, clear, informed and enthusiastic about street art, and all the topics covered, and the walk gives a visitor a wonderful overview of what Bristol has to offer, so especially useful if time is limited. I definitely recommend this walk. Useful for all groups so the following question does not apply.

If first time in Bristol, this tour provides you with a starting point for further exploring the town. As the name suggests, it has a bit of everything: some history, some street art, some architecture, some politics, a few anecdotes about famous people mainly from theatre and film area, etc. The guide, Simon, is very knowledgeable and visibly passionate about his home town. However, the tour lacks both focus and structure. The connection between topics is geographical rather than chronological or subject, which may make the tour feel disjointed at times. Having said that, this tour is good value and I would recommend it as a starting point for more in depth exploring into whatever topic interests you.

A very informative and enjoyable afternoon taking in the sights of historical Bristol on foot. Our guide, Luke, was punctual, personable and very knowledgeable about the local history and origins of the street art. Our two children aged 13 & 11 really enjoyed it too. It was a great way to soak up the atmosphere and enjoy our time visiting the area.

Really enjoyed this tour. There was a good mix of content which gave a balanced overview of the city. The guide was excellent, funny and with bang up to date knowledge which was impressive - clearly he has a passion for the city and for keeping abreast of what's happening. Would definitely recommend.

There is so much to say but what a lovely tour. Our guide was entertaining and extremely knowledgeable.

There is so much history you would not be aware of if you do not do the tour.

I can not recall the guides name but he was a hoot, passionate about Bristol, and very accommodating. Tour probably could be longer with the amount of knowledge he has but I think the length, the scenery and art that is seen is ideal.
