Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We were attending an event adjacent to the farm shop and were pleased to find the kitchen open for the weekend. We both had breakfast baps, which were on the expensive side but were cooked really well and presented nicely. The field next to the kitchen now has a number of benches so it was easy to sit in the autumnal sunshine and enjoy our food. The farm shop is small but worth a visit .

Arrived after our walk just as they opened, we wanted 6 coffees and hot food, the young girl was very helpful pleasant & welcoming, she went and asked for help, a lady came but seem to want to help out, claiming she was doing something else, her manner wasn’t welcoming at all!

Fantastic sausage rolls made from their own pork and really good tea - none of your cheap brew here! Everything is top quality served by really lovely staff. What’s not to like 😄

An oasis of of good things - a coffee and a lifetimes search for the best scotch egg was delivered in the most unexpected shed in the middle of the chiltern hills ...

The holy grail of scotch eggs .

Visited today 20/03/21 and very disappointed with the kitchen takeaway facility. Purchased burgers, sausages in rolls with tea and coffee. Food ok but didn't justify price, tea and coffee both luke-warm . Appreciate this is take away but one bench and a decaying log is not a seating area, especially when these are surrounded by dog excrement. A lot of room for improvement needed, a few benches and and a kettle / nespresso machine would be a start!

What a bizzare review. Your assessment is correct, we are a takeaway service only. And one bench and a decaying log is exactly that - what on earth were you expecting? If we put benches out we cease to be a takeaway service, so your suggestion to do so is naieve at best. Funnily enough, when logs are left out in the elements, they decay. A quick flick through a GCSE geography textbook will remind you of this. And yes we do welcome dogs, and we ask that owners clear up after their dogs. We have a large area where people can sit and take a rest. I'm not going to walk all over it, picking up other people's responsibilities. I certainly don't expect any of my staff to either. At the end of the day, this is a rural setting, in which people need to apply common sense and watch where they're walking. Finally, you've made the classic reviewers faux pas of reviewing us on something we don't offer. We have no desire to install a coffee machine. If I want business advice I'll seek it from a business adviser, not an aerobic instructor. We don't sell enough coffee to justify the investment of anything more than a filter coffee machine. Besides which we've never had complaints before. We are primarily a farm shop, offering an ample selection of hot food and drink at the weekends considering our setting. We are always improving in ways we want to improve. I'm quite satisfied with your 1 star review as I shall take it as confirmation that you will not be visiting our premises again.

If you’re walking near the Chequers Estate at the weekend you will find a small but very welcome stop for a hot drink and a bacon sandwich, veggie burger or the most amazing freshly cooked scotch eggs which is only just a few suggestions on offer.
You can still get a cuppa in the week but the cooking facilities are only open at the weekend. The farm shop sells a good selection of produce...

Just wanted to praise everyone at Buckmoorend Farm Shop for such lovely Christmas experience last weekend. A special thank you to Farmer Christmas who was so good with my two grandchildren. They were both very shy at first but with a little encouragement from Farmer Christmas they soon had plenty to say to him. They thoroughly enjoyed themselves and loved the books they were given. Thank you again.
Happy Christmas

Relatively newly established this is a good little farm shop which sells meat that is reared by the farmer. They’ve also got some other nice local produce including oils, ice creams, baked goods, bread and a bit of veg. Recently they’ve added an outdoor cafe with some seating. This makes it a really good stopping point on the walking circuit from Coombe Hill. Seating is outside so best in warm or mild weather unless you are quite hardy. The owner is always very friendly and they often give our dog a sausage so he doesn’t feel left out! 🙂

The farm shop is small and has limited range of products. Limited parking and the paths are muddy. good place to meet friends on a sunny day and enjoy a little sunshine.

A great find, a great farm shop, with some great produce for sale. It's good to find a good shop selling local, homemade products.
Certainly on my list to visit again 🙂
