We are listed as closed everyday as we are open by appointment only (book a slot via our website). Our family run farm is located in glorious Buckinghamshire countryside offering Walks with Alpacas and private Group/Corporate Visits. Come and learn about these wonderfully inquisitive animals and take them for a walk around our 22 acres. Meet our rare breed sheep,pygmy goats, kune kune pigs, ducks, rabbits and guinea pigs and sample some of Jo's famous homemade cakes! Relaxing, peaceful and true escapism. Please note that as we are not an open farm visits are only by private booking only.

What a wonderful, relaxing experience this was, walking with the alpacas of Abbott's View Farm. We had a chat about the alpacas before we set off to meet them. The farmer, carol and Jo were able to tell us about each alpaca and their personalities and match them with their walkers.
As we went for a chilled walk, we learned more about alpacas. There was no hurry and we got to spend time with our own alpaca as they stopped to eat or take in their surroundings.
After walking the male alpacas, we fed the females, then the kune kune pigs and pigmy goats. To top off a really lovely afternoon, we had tea and cake.
Abbott's View Farm is a friendly and welcoming place which offer the public their alpaca walking experience with heart and time. There is no rush and they really care that you have a good time.

A great chilled out day for my wife and I. Lots of time with the alpacas as well as other animals. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Visited today with my sister as a Birthday gift. The entire experience was amazing and we thoroughly enjoyed walking Sooty and Caspar😘 Carol and Sarah (hope I have remembered their names x) were great and gave us so much information about Alpacas. Thank you for giving us a real "feel good" afternoon would totally recommend x

We were given an informative introduction before being taken to the Alpacas to be allocated our Alpaca. We walked Freckle who was a real character and so delightful to be with! The ladies who led the experience were amazingly patient and helpful and knowledgable, nothing was too much trouble. We were then taken to feed the lady Alpacas which was wonderful, we could spend lots of time amongst the Alpacas. The experience of walking the Alpacas was so lovely, a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon, in fact any time 🦙🤗 We thoroughly enjoyed it and hope to go again. Thank you

What a brilliant time and wholesome Saturday! 🦙
We started with a quick 5 min pep talk about the alpacas, their history and characteristics before being assigned to one to walk.
We were lucky enough to have Hamilton who was an absolute character! We had a nice slow paced stroll with the herd with lots of photo opportunities.
The girls running the experience were so so good. They made it really fun, full of energy and passion and could answer any questions.
After the walk with the alpaca boys, we went and fed the females which was lovely with lots more photo opportunities.
We then had a nice tea and cake in their little cafe before heading home.
A brilliant, quirky gift idea and would highly recommend for something a bit different to do on the weekend!

A warm and friendly welcome on arrival. A great experience with a family who are passionate about their animals. They told us so many interesting facts about alpacas.
A beautiful setting and such fun walking my Alpaca Sir Keith. We were then able to feed the female alpacas. All finished off with a cup of coffee and a delicious Danish pastry.
Would thoroughly recommend.

Abbotts View Alpacas was a fantastic experience from begging to end. The team were very informative, friendly and enthusiastic about everyone getting the best experience from the day. The alpacas were great fun and the farm is on a beautiful setting. We would highly recommend visiting them.

Walks are mainly on weekends but Fridays are sometimes added. You can check dates and availablity on the website.

I’ve booked a walk an alpaca for 3 people on the 25th August for £90.00 and I don’t think I included a feed for them, can I buy food for them on the day of the walk ?thanks.

Is this suitable for children? Age 7 and 5

Hi. Children need to be 10+ to walk their own alpaca but aged 7 they can buy a sharer ticket and walk an alpaca with an adult who has bought a walking ticket. Children under the age of 6 need to be supervised by an adult on a sharer ticket (not walking an alpaca) for safety reasons. So you could buy 1 x walking ticket, 2 x sharer tickets and a child ticket. Hope that helps but feel free to call if you need further clarification x Jo x

Hello. Visits require you to pre book onto an alpaca walk via our website. The availability calendar will show you which walks have space.
We also.do private visits during the week. Please see our website for pricing and details.

Hi Pam - yes of course. We love those kind of visits - especially if they're during the week as our weekends are pretty busy. Have a look on our website (Tripadvisor won't allow me to post the link but search for Abbotts View Alpacas, click Visit Us, then scroll down to Group Visits) which explains the options for group visits and note that we do have a minimum charge.
