This house is just beautiful. You can go around, touch everything, sit everywhere, read all the books. And it's totally free, you just need to ring the doorbell!

Kettle's Yard is a unique place, and one of my favourites in Cambridge. It was originally home to Jim and Helen Ede. In the 1960s, Jim Ede gave the house and it's collections to the University of Cambridge, and it has been preserved as they...More

We visited on a Sunday when the small museum was buzzing with visitors. The exhibition of modern art featuring art and movement was informative and interesting. Just about the right size for viewing .

This museum is like a tardis. It starts small and gets bigger and bigger. Very interesting collection of paintings and other artifacts. A favourite museum for me

Kettles Yard Gallery & House are very easily accessible on foot in Cambridge. They are situated very close to the FOLK MUSEUM. When you visit the Gallery, do go and visit the HOUSE and also the CHURCH next door. Definitely places not to miss.

The house has a very comfortable sort of feel although it gives the impression of being a place to house collections rather than somewhere very domestic. Many of the rooms feel as though they are intended for sitting in and musing. Some of the paintings...More

We made the fairly long trek from Cambridge Train Station on foot but it was well worth it. Entry is via a quaint doorway into several modest rooms ~ very small really. Then up circular stairs to this amazing two storey extended space. There are...More
