A visit to this University is a must. Oxford & Cambridge are the 2 best known Universities in the U.K, if not in the world. I visited the University of Cambridge & was inspired by the architecture, the ambiance, & the grounds.

The university town of Cambridge. Absolutely phenomenal. Beautiful sights, interesting architecture and lovely views. The individual colleges each have their own beauty, and some are free of charge to visit whilst others charge a small fee. I had a lovely day of walking in Cambridge and exploring the streets and colleges. Going punting down River Cam is a great way... More

The University precinct of Cambridge is vibrant and beautiful. The individual Colleges operate independent of each other and whilst most are open to the public (at least in part), some (ie. those you are more likely to want to visit) charge a small fee. This can add up quite quickly if you wish to visit a few.

Imagine a University still standing since the 15th century. It's beautiful. It's awe-inspiring. I highly recommend a visit. You won't be disappointed. Be sure to visit King's Chapel, too.

There are many sights to see and things to do in Cambridge. Take a walk along the river and through the University, which is comprised of different colleges. There are many stores, restaurants, and other tourists.

I was amazed at this place. Can't believe I'm at this place where C.S. Lewis and Sir Isaac Newton, to name a few, spent their academic life.

This review is about the university in general rather than a specific college within the university. I saw only a small part of the university because of time constraints. Cambridge University is lovely and lively. The architecture is beautiful and the population is young and vibrant. Many old beautiful buildings made from brown stones line the narrow streets. A working... More

I had the joy of visiting Cambridge for a lecture as my son is keen to come. (He calls it the place with 'his people'). Unfortunately most colleges were closed the day we went but just to view the outside of the buildings is a joy. There are many hidden parts down old streets, so many gorgeous open spaces to... More
