You can go to Cambridge from London in few minutes by train, departing from King's Cross Station (great place too). I chose Cambridge as a must-see place if you are visiting London and have at least one day to experience new places. Especially if you wanna know more about history of great persons.

Have been very fortunate to lived and worked in Cambridge all my life. I would strongly recommend to anyone to visit this historic city, go punting, great pubs and restaurants, and make sure u visit the colleges in the city centre.

The Universities shouldn't really be "attractions" but they are! It's amazing to see the scale of these historic buildings, to feel the pure knowledge that has walked inside their walls and to understand just what makes them so world renowned! They are fantastically well looked after, have large grounds and make great photos. If you're in Cambridge as a tourist,... More
