BEST regional theatre in the country

Amazing little theatre in centre of Cambridge. Lovely bar serving reasonable drinks. Great atmosphere. Shows at 7.45pm and 11pm each day. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

I visited the theatre to see 'Little Shop Of Horrors ' at the weekend with my mum. She'd been before but this was my first visit....and I doubt it will be my last! The front is deceptively small and unless you know where it is I think you could easily miss it. The staff were friendly but could do with... More

Love going to the ADC theatre! Lovely small theatre with friendly staff and great shows. Reasonably priced and a great opportunity to support local talent. Well worth a visit, strongly recommend it 👍🏼

I have been to the ADC a few times and love it every time. The staff are also so friendly and extremely helpful. We were meant to see a show yesterday but because of traffic we missed the first half, the staff offered us tickets for the show today instead at no extra cost at all. Very grateful! Cannot wait... The ADC theatre is small enough that you almost feel part of the show. We saw the musical Legally Blonde which was terrific. The place was packed, the energy of the cast was infectious and the audience really loved it. Being a University student theatre means the prices are always low, but the standards of the presentations are high.

My wife and I went to an amateur dramatic comedy production at this theatre and we were impressed with the venue. (The show was great too but that is another matter). They put on a wide range of productions featuring the best local talent. The auditorium seats just over 200 with comfy seating and (as far as I could see)... More

We booked on a whim as we had a free evening in Cambridge. We knew nothing about the play. Tickets were extremely reasonable and the play was off the chain! Absolutely amazing, brilliantly acted and completely hilarious. Full house which made for a brilliant atmosphere .

A small but smart theatre, offering a variety of shows in a very pleasant building, with a well-stocked, comfortable bar. The show, by a local amateur company, was very well-performed.

Having enjoyed performances by several companies from Cambridge at the Edinburgh Fringe over recent years we knew the high quality of productions. However this was our first visit to ADC and we were very impressed by the professionalism show both on stage and front of house. Comfortable seats provided good sightlines and ticket prices were very fair. The production was... More

We love this theatre as it is very welcoming and although it is on the small side it is very accessible and has some great artists here.
