Great Theatre

We love this theatre as it is very welcoming and although it is on the small side it is very accessible and has some great artists here.

Saw an excellent production of 1984 here which far exceeded my expectations. Lovely little theatre with good facilities and pleasant staff. Although the seats are comfortable, the arrangement is not good and some members of audience had problems seeing the stage. Good value for money and worth visiting

1st visit to the adc, great little theatre. Saw the BAWDS production of Dickens old curiosity shop. Great acting all round. Wonderful set. £10 a ticket, bargain. Paid £65 a ticket to see mamma mia in the west-end last week (awful set and poor production). This was miles better all round. Well done to all involved. Thouroughly recommend.

Went to see the Cambridge Footlights perform in their panto at the ADC. It was brilliant, the quality of the acting was superb and it is easy to se why so many big names first started their acting careers with the footlights. It was my first time at the ADC, it is cosy with a nice ambiance, the only downside... More

While in Cambridge recently I visited the ADC. It was a great evening. The theatre is quite small and the seats are not roomy but the atmosphere was just great. I love amateur dramatics and the enthusiasm of young actors. For me this is part of the attraction. I often want to see a play without paying West End prices... More

We attended the opening night production of The Producers at the ADC. Full marks for the show - the actors acted their hearts out. The staff are friendly and helpful. We'd booked our tickets on-line and collected them a couple of hours before the show - worth doing as the queue is quite big immediately before the performance. As it... More

We try and watch something at the ADC at least every other month. The performance standard often matches London West End, but at shabby prices (typically £12 a seat). The theatre's Patron is Sondheim, so there is a at least one of his wonderful musicals performed each term, but the repertoire ranges from comedy to cutting edge drama, so something... More

The ADC is a small intimate theatre with good sound. Th seats are not overly comfortable but the ambience is very good. The bar wasn't expensive and a hosted a local ale, Marcus Aurelius from th Milton Brewery. Polite efficient service. No booking fee which is a bonus and very reasonably priced tickets for Wyrd Sisters..

It's not as big as a lot of theatres, but the enthusiasm of the student actors and staff was infectious and great fun! The drinks were cheap too :-)

Better than just OK it is a very small but comfortable theatre with quite a nice bar area, but not one of the top theatres.
