The difficulty here is whether to review the play of the theatre Here goes - The theatre is somewhat bijoux but a lovey venue - My difficulty is extreme long legs and hence most theatres present a problem so I take end of row seats. There isn't a lot of space even on end of row for the most part... More

Not the first time I have been to the Arts I perhaps go a couple of times a year. My wife and I saw 'Gaslight' which was very enjoyable. The theatre has been updated often but still comes across as old style which i nice, the entrance and bar/seating areas are modern but the theatre itself is a bit dated.... More

This is a lovely little theatre which now has some really good plays coming over the next few months. We went to see Gaslight which was brilliant. The cast were really good as you would expect. It is nice to go to a local theatre and experience London West End shows without the hassle of travelling to London.

A small group of U3A members enjoyed a super visit to the Cambridge's famous Arts Theatre. It is a charity and doesn't receive money from national funds. Our guide was very informative and provided lots of opportunity to inspire our imagination about all the aspects of the theatre. We covered every part except the dressing rooms. These, we were told,... More

Went to musical Anne yesterday. Brilliant cast - little girls singing and dancing very good. Just expensive show program and ice cream: cost £3.50 each. And you don't need to put your best dress on, as an audience sits in the theatre in a couts.

Watched Dick Whittington Pantomime. The theatre is a good size and although seated at the very back the views were very good and the kids loved it. The panto was very funny and we can't wait to go next year. I have lived in Cambridge all my life and can not believe I have never been here before. A lovely... More

A very funny and musical pantomime. The cast were great and my children laughed and joined in the whole way through. It was a lovely pantomime.
