Cambridge Alumni Tours is a walking & punting tour company set in the heart of Cambridge on King's Parade. We provide private or shared walking & punting tours in and around the Cambridge University Colleges. Our tours are suited to all group types which include: prospective students, corporate groups, school groups and tourists. Our expert tour guides are Cambridge alumni, current students and professionally trained local guides, who help you take away an authentic insight into student life at the University of Cambridge while you learn historical facts and anecdotes.

Our guide Francesco was excellent and so knowledgable. We were a mixed group of 9 adults and he engaged with all of us throughout and kept us entertained and fully informed. Thoroughly enjoyed and learnt a lot

Alec was great!! I learnt a lot about Oxford university (it’s history and traditions). Getting all this information from an alumni or student makes a huge difference. I can only but recommend!!

I enjoyed touring the old town of Cambridge and seeing the beautiful buildings including colleges, churches and libraries. I also liked the interesting stories about the history of Cambridge and the various colleges. Thanks Georgie for a great guided tour!

We had an outstanding tour lead by Chris J who showed us lots of interesting sights coupled with lots of potted history and amusing and quirky anecdotes. Fantastic in depth knowledge from an excellent communicator.

Good guide, shame that the price for Kings College Chapel is so high booking it through this company. Found out later booking it through Kings College website is roughly 10 pounds cheaper (nearly 50%). The guide from this company only shows you the entrance to the chapel, then leaves you by yourself - not worth the extra expense.

Do the Cambridge walking tours get to enter and walk around the outside grounds of all the colleges you visit or do they stop at entrance and give a chat?

We did the Kings College tour, which gives access to the college green and chapel. Otherwise it was a tour of the outside of the other colleges.
We really enjoyed the tour and the guides were excellent.
our tour guide Leah was really friendly and passionate! Max, is really nice as well!
