Easily the best Pitch and putt I've visited. And so central!

The Lakes is the best kept golf course in the area; it is beautiful from every perspective and the greens are excellent! There are no horrid rough areas. But most of all it is so... read more

The Lakes is the best kept golf course in the area; it is beautiful from every perspective and the greens are excellent! There are no horrid rough areas. But most of all it is so very welcoming. Bob, the owner and Julie in reception get to know their customers and are always accommodating. The same goes for the ground staff,... More

Great par 3 couirse for beginners only £5.50 a round as well which makes it very reasonably priced. The course is pretty well kept and is rarely closed. The longest hole is a little over 100 yards the entire course can be done using an 9 iron from the tee. This was the only reason for not having the top... More

we wanted to try a game of golf and this was ideally, had a lovely couple of hours and a cup of tea afterwards, staff brilliant and helpful, no equipment needed as all hired at a very respectable cost. Will certainly use again

What a great par 3 course this is, whether you are a seasoned golfer (great for short-game practice) or a beginner (wanting to play on a 'proper' golf course), Cambridge Lakes certainly suits everyone. Myself, my son (14 years of age) and his friend played a few rounds at this delightful course, with friendly staff to ensure your visit is... More

A nice 9 hole par three course close to the centre of Cambridge. Well maintained, decent greens for the type of course. Relaxed on dress code etc. The longest hole is 126 yards so a nice spot for some pitch and putt.

Bob Barnes hosted our first ever FIG at his excellent par 3, 9 hole course. It is in almost perfect condition, the greens playing fast and true. We had 21 juniors playing in 7 teams, followed by 36 adults including about 9 disabled players truly integrated into the 9 teams. A number of players commented on what a lovely corner... More

I've been to the Lakes a few times (probably twice a week over the summer for four years) and it's fantastic. Great location, wonderfully kept grass and some challenge in the holes. As with all pay-and-play pitch and putt courses, there are occasionally some people less familiar with golf etiquette around, but you get past that pretty quickly. A joy.
