This is an enchanting cottage in the beautiful grounds of a manor house. The owner is welcoming, and knowledgeable host. I cannot recommend this cottage highly enough.

Netherhall Manor, where to start? My grandmother and I stayed at the manor for 11 nights and it was such an amazing experience. First off, the owner Mr. Clark is such a kind man who knows so much history about the area and knows the answer to every question you might have. He did everything possible to ensure our happiness. It was a cozy charming cottage that is on a beautiful peice of land. Beautiful gardens that will make you want to sit there for hours just observing the scenery. It is in nice, small, quite town named Soham and Mr. Clark knows of all of the spots in the area to go to during your stay so that you can explore and create memories during your stay. Once we reached the end of our stay it was very sad to leave the manor. We will definitely be back to stay at the manor in the future. Thank you Mr. Clark!…

Like most tourists visiting UK we'd invariably headed straight for London .Alas, London we discovered after 20 years , is not England ! First timer to Cambridgeshire we were treated to a most amazing ,fortnight stay at Netherall Manor in Soham! It was a generously spacious accomodation complete with kitchen, electric fireplace and old world charm . The bedroom upstairs was huge with a four poster bed . The gardens of Netherall Manor took us by complete surprise ! We never expected that for a modest sum we paid , to be living in annex of a stately home, resplendant with a Victorian garden of antiquity . Ignorant of the many plants found in England , the owner Mr Clark introduced us to the flowering species . He was a living archivist himself of all the surrounding towns and villages in Cambridgeshire . As such we were able to maximise our holiday by following his suggestions and tips on where to go or see. Having tasted the English country we are now headed for the rest of the counties with a new found desire to discover its charm and beauty .…

Timothy is a wonderful host and went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. If you’re looking for an escape and to hide away from the world, this cottage is ideal!…
