Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Great guide and equipment, safe and fun intro to kayaking for our kids, beautiful coast and caves. Highly recommended. Children aged 5 and 7. Learnt lots about the island.

I've been visiting Sark for 45 years and Adventure Sark is a recent addition to the activities available on the island.
I've done kayaking before including surf kayaking (which I didn't enjoy).
I got in touch to book my two children onto a session to find I would have to take part too due to their ages. I was initially unsure about joining in but I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Nothing was too much trouble for Budgie and Ana. Due to my size we had to go back and change kayaks as the first one felt unstable.
It was hard work paddling but very much worth the effort as you get right up close to some amazing features of the Sark coastline. It was high tide when we went so we did some caves that aren't often done.

We had a great time kayaking around the beautiful coast of Sark this afternoon. Budgie (the owner) was fantastic, a really nice guy who obviously enjoyed his job a great deal, and made sure we enjoyed our time too. I can't recommend it highly enough!

Went here on a day trip whilst on holiday in jersey. Shame it was a dull cloudy day and the travel booking office didn't tell us that on a Sunday all the little shops are closed
It's 45 mins across from jersey on the ferry. There are no motor vehicles except tractors in Sark. The tractors come to the harbour and collect the luggage if your staying there. Other wise it's hired bicycle walk or £15 each for a horse cart ride round the island. All the horse are shire horse. It's a great island the views are breath taking. As with jersey the food /drink is London prices. There is some gift shops and even a charity shop . Sadly they were not open. There are many places to eat and stay. There's a museum. A prison that holds just two inmates. Great story about that.
The locals are known as rabbits
( wonder why lol).

Great guys and an amazing way to explore Sark.
The coasteering was great fun and a completely different perspective of the cliffs and caves.

We went kayaking with Sark Adventures last week on the most perfect, sunny day. Budgie and Angie were excellent, knowledgable and fun guides who made the experience one of the best days I have ever had on Sark. We paddled into mysterious caves clothed with sea anenomes and corals, landed to explore hidden gullies and glorious "desert island" sandy beaches with not another soul on them apart from seabirds. If you love being on the water and exploring where few others tread, this is not to be missed.

We visited some caves in the canoes, launched from Crux Harbour (give yourself time to walk there) then out to sea following the shoreline to La Coupee. Our leader who is a huge character, (he knows so much about the ins and outs of life on Sark), is a real enthusiast for the caves in the area and visiting them on a kayak is a great experience. The sit on sea kayaks are very robust and easy to paddle. In our group were some less experienced paddlers, it didn't make any difference. A great trip. When we go back we want to try the coasteering. We had 2 instructors with us at all times.

My boyfriend has been coasteering before and got me to come along while we were in Sark. As mentioned in other reviews they do kit you out in wetsuits, helmets, buoyancy aids and even trainers. My tip is if you have an old pair of trainers you don't mind getting wet take them with you. Also ladies, we all got changed together, so be prepared with your cossie on. Sam and Angie made sure everything fitted properly and then we had a 15 minute walk to our start point. They throw you in at the deep end literally with a fairly big jump into the sea. For me personally I really liked the jumping even though I couldn't do it properly. My big struggle was in the sea. Even though I am a fairly good swimmer I struggled to swim in the sea as it was pretty choppy that day. Sam and Angie were very good to me, towing me along and making sure I got out of the water ok. We were out about 2 hours. It's very energetic, and be prepared for a few bruises. My boyfriend absolutely loved it and he is scared of heights. I don't know if I would do it again but I would have loved to try the kayaking but had no time

We (our family including two kids age 8 and 6) did two trips with Adventure Sark - one coasteering and kayaking - on our holiday in Sark in July. Sam and Budgie were brilliant guides - pitching the adventure level just right for the kids (and their mum). Jumping off the rocks in to the sea and exploring the caves was excellent and the kids loved it. I was only half-terrified! Kayaking was also a lot of fun, and is the perfect way to see this incredibly beautiful island and to explore the hundreds of caves. Adventure Sark have all the kit for you to borrow (wet suits, helmets, bouyancy aids) and are well run and organised. I would highly recommend if you are going to the island.

I have just returned from a holiday in Sark and spent a wonderful 2-3 hours kayaking in and out of little caves. It is an experience unlike anything I have ever done before. I loved the island and laid back nature of it, but to able to experience it from the ground looking up was wonderful. I totally recommend it.
