The kids loved it, shame it's only small and doesn't have any loo's :( it has the potential to be a huge success if it could expand a bit.

Currently closed for refurbishment... Visited Chester today April 2018 and staff at the Tourist Information Centre informed me that the attraction is currently closed and there are plans to relocate it more in the city centre. Which should make it a lot more accessible. Unfortunately...More

Really interesting exhibits. The man on the gate also knew his stuff. Great for a quick look round or longer if you want to read all the information on. Trepanation and the method used in the middle ages for removing kidney stones make you grateful...More

Excellent place and very interesting. Adults as well as young people enjoyed it very much. It is only a small interactive musuem but is worth a visit if you are walking the Chester walls. Very reasonably priced

This was something we had been looking forward to while in Chester based on Trip Advisor reviews. We were extremely disappointed to find that it was closed due to "immediate maintenance issues".

The exhibition is housed inside 2 towers located on the city walls. It is interesting to see the tower interiors as they are not accessible unless the exhibition is visited. Don't miss the opportunity to see a fully restored Camera Obscura in the first tower...More

We had a great time in here and despite it being a small museum it was thoroughly enjoyable. The young man at the admission desk was friendly and talkative and this was a great start to our visit. It is fairly easy to find, though...More

It took me a while to find this museum at first, and it is quite a stroll from the city centre (you find it close to Water Tower Gardens along the city walls). It is a lovely small museum inside one of the towers and...More
