Well worth spending some time here. Loved all the medals and how they are displayed. Some have the owners details as well.

The work experience offered at The Cheshire Military Museum is an invigorating mix of independence and support. We were able to design and construct our own temporary exhibition, but aid was always available. A lively debate about history or even our current climate is common,...More

I spend a wet morning at the museum . Most friendly volunteer staff . If you like your military history this is a very good collection covering the centuries. There are two VCs and lots of very interesting uniforms , equipment and artefacts . I...More

Very enjoyable and a manageable size venue. If army stuff is your bag this museum will hit the mark.

Visited here in March 2017 completely unplanned. A brilliant place for anyone interested in military history. Our only feedback would be to incorporate a coffee shop which would keep visitors on site longer and bring in extra revenue.

Very much a natural choice for anyone interested in military history and an insight into the evolution over 300 years of the local regiment - much travel, many colonial conflicts and the harsh impact of the world wars plus up to date deployments.

My favourite Museum in Chester. I'm a military history geek, and I love it. Albeit small and not to everyone's taste (mostly those who do not like Military History) it's worth a visit. You can definitely learn something.

We went there with some expectations, but went out disappointed. The exhibition is rather small; to be fair - in other cities you visit similar museums for free and they are bigger and better (e.g. Lancaster City Museum)
