Well worth spending some time here. Loved all the medals and how they are displayed. Some have the owners details as well.

Visited here in March 2017 completely unplanned. A brilliant place for anyone interested in military history. Our only feedback would be to incorporate a coffee shop which would keep visitors on site longer and bring in extra revenue.

Very much a natural choice for anyone interested in military history and an insight into the evolution over 300 years of the local regiment - much travel, many colonial conflicts and the harsh impact of the world wars plus up to date deployments.
We went there with some expectations, but went out disappointed. The exhibition is rather small; to be fair - in other cities you visit similar museums for free and they are bigger and better (e.g. Lancaster City Museum)
A very well presented Museum really enjoyed our time looking round the attraction, which gave an insite into the Cheshire regiment
